Sheikh Saqr bin Saud Al Mualla inaugurates the Umm Al Quwain Visual Arts Exhibition

Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of the Smart Government Department and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Sustainable Blue Economy Strategy in Umm Al Quwain, inaugurated the second edition of the Umm Al Quwain Visual Arts Exhibition, which is organized by the Umm Al Quwain Creative Center.

The second session of the exhibition - which is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain - witnesses the participation of plastic artists from the Emirates, along with 30 plastic artists from other countries.

Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, during his inspection of the exhibition, was accompanied by Abdullah Bu Osaiba, Director of the Creative Center, Eng. Khalid Al Shamsi, Director General of the Smart Government Department in Umm Al Quwain, and a number of officials in government departments in the emirate.

Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla reviewed the displayed posts, which were inspired by several schools of art such as free art, abstract, realistic and classical art, and included displaying a group of creative paintings and drawings drawn in Arabic calligraphy, as well as a group of artistic paintings that featured the beauty of the Arabian horse in addition to the drawings that represented Realistic environment such as architectural and heritage art.

Part of the exhibition was devoted to displaying the creations of photography and digital art, in addition to displaying aesthetic models that highlight the art of bronze and granite sculpture.

Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla expressed his admiration for the contents of the exhibition, stressing the importance of art exhibitions because they reflect the UAE’s cultural leadership by embracing all international arts and cultures and presenting them to the public through creative cultural centers and platforms at the state level, which enhances the artistic cultural scene and contributes to creating an artistic environment. Based on creativity, it reflects artistic messages that express an identity and creative content, conveyed with beautiful lines, colors, and sincere expressions.

At the end of the tour, Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla honored the participants in the Umm Al Quwain Visual Arts Exhibition.
