SHEIKH SAQR'S VISIT TO GITEX 2022

Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of the Smart Government Department in Umm Al Quwain, visited GITEX Global 2022 in its 42nd session, which is the largest in the history of the exhibition, with the participation of 5,000 companies from more than 90 countries. Dubai World Trade.

Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla's visit to the exhibition included viewing a number of established pavilions, which include the latest global technologies in all aspects of life, developments in the telecommunications sector, the latest products, smart and innovative solutions, and developments in information technology and cyber security.

During his visit to GITEX Global 2022, the Head of the Umm Al Quwain Smart Government Department met with His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy, who in turn reviewed a set of initiatives and digital platforms that the Ministry has developed in addition to its electronic and digital services that it provides to the public inside and outside the country.

Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla visited the Sharjah Government Pavilion and was received by Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Higher Committee of the Sharjah Government Pavilion at GITEX Technology Week 2022, Director of the Sharjah Digital Office, and His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of the Sharjah Government Pavilion. The e-government in the Emirate of Sharjah, during which he was briefed on projects that focus on future technologies presented by ten government agencies under the slogan “Together for Human Integration with Technology”, which aims to provide advanced services by taking advantage of the latest developments in the world in the field of artificial intelligence, metaviruses and robotics.

Sheikh Saqr bin Saud also visited the "Dubai Digital" pavilion and listened to an explanation from His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri, Director General of "Dubai Digital" and His Excellency Matar Al Hamiri, Executive Director of the Smart Dubai Government Establishment, about the most prominent developments and updates of "Dubai Digital" initiatives, which enhance its path in leading The shift towards a comprehensive and integrated digital life in Dubai.

He was also briefed on the services provided by the Communications Regulatory Authority and the Digital Government, through the joint platform of the Federal Digital Government, which includes 33 federal government agencies, through which it reviews many services, plans, projects and solutions that draw from the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to serve the human being and to achieve the aspirations of the rational leadership towards a society and the digital knowledge economy.
